Day 1: Departure for Tbilisi
Day 2: Tbilisi
Tbilisi Sightseeing program. We visit an open-air Ethnographical museum with original houses from all over Georgia, then travel to little Turtle Lake to enjoy swimming and leisure on water bikes. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 3: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Gori – Akhaltsikhe
We visit the ancient capital Mtskheta and Jvari Monastery to hear the history of how Georgia became Christian as early as the 4th century AD. Later we travel to the ancient Uplistsikhe Cave Town (1st millennium BC) that once used to welcome the caravans coming from Asia to Europe. Overnight in Akhaltsikhe for 2 nights.
Day 4: Akhaltsikhe – Vardzia – Akhaltsikhe
We travel to the biggest cave town of Georgia – Vardzia. En route visit Khertvisi Fort. Later get on bikes and cycle to Old Vardzia Nunnery to enjoy our time passing the beautiful villages of Meskheti region.
Day 5: Akhaltsikhe – Borjom-Kharagauli Park – Borjomi – Bakurini
Today we walk in the largest PAN Park in Europe for 1.5-2 hours and later visit Borjomi Children’s Park to travel on a cable car and have some free time for merry-go-rounds. Overnight in Bakuriani for 2 nights.
Day 6: Bakuriani – Tabatskuri – Bakuriani
In the morning we drive to the peninsula Tabaskuri village and sail on a motor-boat on Tabastkuri Lake. Later drive to Bakuriani and get on a horseback to explore Mt. Kokhta.
Day 7: Bakuriani – Bazaleti Lake
Today we travel to Bazaleti Lake to enjoy time at leisure at the lake where you can swim, sail on water bikes, play tennis, beach volleyball, and many more. Overnight at Bazaleti Lake.
Day 8: Bazaleti Lake – Kazbegi
We visit Ananuri Fort and climb up the tower once called ‘Unconquerable’. Continue to the world of huge mountains to Kazbegi and walk to Gergeti Trinity Church (3.5 hours). Overnight in Kazbegi for 2 nights.
Day 9: Kazbegi – Gveleti Waterfalls – Kazbegi
Another adventure on horseback – we travel to magnificent Gveleti Waterfalls. After the tour, we have free time to relax or we travel to a small naturally warm spring water wild pool to swim.
Day 10: Kazbegi – Rafting – Tbilisi
We drive to the point where we start our white water rafting down the Aragvi River accompanied by experienced instructors. In the evening visit the children’s park ‘Bombora’. Overnight in Tbilisi.
