Early in the morning arrive in Tbilisi, meet in the airport and transfer to a hotel.
After late breakfast we drive to the ancient capital and religious centre of Georgia – Mtskheta and visit its historical places: Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, where the Robe of Christ is buried. Both Jvari and Svetitskhoveli are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Afterwards visit the ruins of antique Mtskheta.
Then we will drive up the Georgian military highway and on the way photo stop at Ananuri architectural complex (17th c.). Arrive in Gudauri. Afterwards a stunning drive from Gudauri along the Tergi River will bring us to Kazbegi - the main town in the region. Dinner and overnight in Kazbegi in a guesthouse with shared facilities (4 nights).
Day 3: Kazbegi
We depart from the village Gergeti for Gergeti Trinity church with the snow shoes. Firstly we walk through the locals’ houses in the village and afterwards walk a certain distance on the narrow path in the forest. We visit the church (14th c) and have picnic. On the way back we take another path which gets steep down to the village Gergeti.

Day 4: Kazbegi – Devdoraki Glacier – Kazbegi
In the morning we depart for the fascinating gorge of Dariali, to the Georgian-Russian border. Today we start our snow shoe tour from the village Gveleti. After walking for about 3 hrs we reach the place from where we can enjoy the picturesque view on Devdoraki glacier. After picnic we take the same way back to the village Gveleti and from there we drive back to Kazbegi.

Day 5: Kazbegi – Sno Gorge – Kazbegi
Today we walk with the snow shoes to the beautiful Sno gorge via the local villages. Besides the local houses we will see the tower of 18th c. After walking for 4 hrs we arrive at the charming village. After picnic we drive back to Kazbegi.

Day 6: Kazbegi – Village Arsha – Tbilisi
In the morning we start 2-hour snow shoe tour from Kazbegi. We witness the amazing views in the background of the Great Caucasus mountains. After walking for 2 hrs we arrive at the village ‘Arsha’ where we taste hot tea and coffee with the home-made confiture. Later we drive to Tbilisi. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 7: Tbilisi
Today we have Tbilisi Sightseeing tour. During the tour we take you to the places that will show you old city. You can take a glance to the history of the city from early centuries to nowadays by walking in narrow streets of the city and exploring the religious and secular architecture. Here you find different religious buildings – churches, synagogues, mosques, as well as famous 19th century houses with wooden multi-colored balconies. You visit the sulfur bath which made an unforgettable impression on Pushkin, Lermontov, Dumas. During the tour you enjoy the superb panoramic views of the Old city. This marks the end of the Old Town. Then take a stroll along Rustaveli Avenue – the main street in Tbilisi. Visit the national art or historical museum (if not Monday). In the evening we enjoy the sulphur bath. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 8: Departure
Early in the morning transfer to the airport and departure.
